Chemical Construction Manager (HGAS)

Position Summary & Duties:
This is a 6-month Construction Manager position working for a specialty chemical client in the Krotz Springs, LA.  Construction Manager will generally work 50 hours/week.  

Construction Manager Job Description: 
• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction/maintenance projects related to structures, facilities, and systems.
• Construction Manager will participate in conceptual design of construction projects and oversee organization, scheduling, and implementation.
• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Construction Manager will oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations




Qualifications:
Construction Manager Job Requirements:
• 3+years of construction management experience preferred  
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field or Associates Degree desired
• Candidates from the Krotz Springs area preferred; days worked per diem may be paid for highly qualified semi-local candidates
